Local News: COE Results for October Round 2
COE Prices climb higher in all Categories
Certificates of Entitlement (COE) have closed higher in all categories following this round of bidding.
Category A (Cars under 1,600cc) segment COEs closed $2,001 higher this round at $71,001.
Elsewhere across the board, prices climbed upwards with Category B (cars over 1,600cc) COEs rising by $5,800 to close at $85,801.
Prices in the Category E (Open Category) have also increased by $111 to finish at $87,000.
The full results are as follows:
Category A (Cars below 1,600cc) : $71,001 (+2.9%)
Category B (Cars above1,600cc) : $85,801 (+7.2%)
Category C (Commercial Vehicles) :$57,889 (+3.4%)
Category D (Motorcycles) : $1,920 (+0.4%)
Category E (Open) : $87,000 (+0.1%)
A total of 976 Cat A, B and E certificates were awarded in this round’s bidding exercise compared to 996 in the last round. A total of 1,618 COEs were awarded.
