Local News: Ford Focus RS set to hit town
oneshift can confirm that Ford dealer Vantage Automotive is set to offer limited numbers of the Focus RS here in Singapore.
Just a handful of lucky souls will get their hands on the much lauded RS here as demand is high in Europe and hence there aren't enough to go around the world. The dramatic looking RS offers a tweaked version of the ST's 2.5 turbo engine, making 300bhp. The grunt is sent to the front wheels but Ford has promised exceptional handling nonetheless thanks to a radically designed front suspension. With an official launch date some time in April, the Focus RS is set to do battle with the upcoming Volkswagen Golf R and the new Megane Renaultsport RS in the hyper hatch market.
