In line with the recent directive from the Malaysian Ministry of Domestic Trade, Cooperatives and Consumerisms (MDTCC), Singaporean car owners can now enjoy unlimited purchase of the unsubsidized RON97 petrol, Premium 97 with Techron, at all Caltex service stations in Malaysia.

“Singaporeans visiting Malaysia will be able to experience the same cleaning power of Techron in RON97 that cleans engines as you drive for better power and fuel economy. They can now purchase Caltex Premium 97 with Techron without having to worry about their proximity to the border,” said Jeremy Oh, Chevron’s General Manager – Products, Malaysia, Singapore and Cambodia.

In addition, Malaysian citizens who are driving Singapore-registered vehicles will continue to have the option of purchasing the government-subsidized Premium 95 with Techron. To make this purchase, the driver of said vehicle must be a Malaysian and present his or her Malaysian identification card (MyKAD) to our Caltex customer service representatives prior to filling up.

Diesel drivers of Singapore-registered vehicles may continue to purchase up to 20 litres of Caltex Diesel with Techron D within a radius of 50km from any point of entry into Malaysia. These locations include Johor Bharu and areas of Pontian and Kota Tinggi. Caltex Diesel with Techron D contains the exclusive Techron D additive to control deposits, help maintain fuel injector cleanliness and enable optimum engine performance.
