Lotus Evora convertible will be a strict 2-seater
The Lotus Evora convertible will have its rear seats removed to make way for the convertible's top.

While its fixed-roof Evora sibling will have a 2+2 configuration, the Evora convertible won't be making any room for rear seat passengers.
According to Steve Crijns, the Evora’s exterior designer, the Evora convertible's roof is to be placed in front of the Evora's mid-mounted engine. And that spot happens to be occupied by the rear seats.
To save on weight and engineering costs, the Evora convertible will be fitted with a soft top, instead of a retractable hard top.
