Mini Habitat wins President’s Design Award

No one doubts that the Mini is a trendy statement in style and fashion, but its award-winning iconic imagery extends to its showroom as well. In this case, it’s the Mini Habitat along Leng Kee Road that has been considered one of the ‘Designs of the Year’ at the recent President’s Design Award ceremony. The Mini Habitat won the award for Interior Design, picked by international jury of experts from Australia and the United States. The showroom has also been given ‘honorable mention’ at the 14th Asia Pacific Interior design Awards 2006, that was recently held in Hong Kong. The showroom and service facility is the first Mini Habitat in the world, and will be used by the BMW Group as a benchmark for other Mini showrooms around the world.
