Motor Show Returns To Singapore

The Singapore Motor show will make its return to the motoring scene in January next year. Presented by Motor Traders Association of Singapore (MTA), in collaboration with MediaCorp, the Singapore Motor show 2015 will see 26 car brands participating in the event from January 15 to 18, 2015 at Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre. “Motor shows in Singapore have always ignited interest and imagination about cars,” says Mr. Glenn Tan, President of MTA. “The MTA has been eager to revive the Motor show, since the last one was held in 2008. The industry feels strongly about bringing this important institution back to life in Singapore and I’m pleased that the 2015 edition will not disappoint.”

MediaCorp is committed to working with MTA to bring all the excitement of The Singapore Motor show to motoring enthusiasts and their families, and making it one of the most “talked about” events in the Singapore calendar.”

To ensure the Singapore Motor show 2015 is accessible and affordable for families, MTA will price daily tickets to the event at $6 per entry and make it free for anyone below 120cm in height. There will also be a limited amount of special preview tickets available at $10 per entry. The special preview tickets will allow visitors to enter the show at 12 noon on 15 January instead of 5pm on the same day when it is open to the public.

Tickets will be available for sale on-site. Singapore Motor show 2015 also promises to be more than just being a showcase of cars. Subaru will be bringing in stunt driver, Russ Swift who will be putting on driving exhibitions. Tickets for Russ Swift’s stunt driving show is separate from the entrance ticket. It will be available for collection on-site an hour before each show and must be collected in person and upon presentation of a valid entrance ticket. Tickets are limited and will be given out on a first-come-first-served basis.

Official sponsors for the Singapore Motorshow 2015 are AIG (Official Insurer), HL Bank (Official Bank), MediaCorp (Official Media Partner) and Shell Helix (Official Automotive Lubricants). The event is also supported by the Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association, Inc (JAMA).
