New 2.0-litre Volvos for Singapore
SM Motors is offering the 2.0-liter engine variant in several Volvo models.
In an effort to reach out to a wider audience, Volvo is introducing a 2.0-litre engine option into its local model line-up.
The 2.0-liter, 4-cylinder engines have been combined with Volvo's new six-speed automatic gearbox called [I]Powershift[/I]. According to Volvo, the dual-clutch technology (similar to Volkswagen's DSG, Porsche's PDK and Mitsubishi's SST) in this new gearbox actually reduces fuel consumption by up to 8 percent.
The 2.0-liter engine will be available in the [B]C30[/B], [B]S40[/B], and [B]V50[/B].
