Flagship EV status does not mean it automatically stays away from public scrutiny. When the BMW iX made its debut in 2021, attention was drawn to its elongated kidney grille. 4 years on - many BMWs and kidney grille variations later, we’re either desensitised to it or still find this bold statement visually intriguing. Nevertheless, the BMW iX has been refreshed, and the kidney grille now glows.

Contour lighting
Its front end is defined by a redesigned BMW kidney grille with a fine frame and a pattern of vertical and diagonal lines, highlighted by standard Iconic Glow contour lighting. The new headlights include vertical elements for daytime running lights and turn indicators, with adaptive LED technology and a cornering light function as standard.

0 - 100km/h in 5.1 seconds
Two motors power the iX, each driving the front and rear. It now produces 408hp - an increase of 82hp. This results in a 0–100 km/h acceleration of 5.1 seconds, a full second quicker than before. Top speed is electronically limited to 200 km/h.

602km of range
The new BMW iX xDrive45’s battery increases by around 30% to 94.8 kWh. Together with other efficiency upgrades, this increases the vehicle’s range by up to 40%, with the iX xDrive45 now achieving up to 602 km - significantly more than the previous model’s 425km. DC charge is rated at 175kW, while AC charge supports 22kW.

Standard 21-inch rims
It comes with a double-wishbone front axle, five-link rear axle and electric steering with Servotronic and variable ratio. Hill Descent Control (HDC) is now standard, along with the option to deactivate Dynamic Stability Control (DSC). All Singapore models are equipped with standard 21-inch aerodynamic wheels.
