New Porsche 911 GT3 RS Will Be Revealed On 17 August
The Porsche 911 GT3 is getting a big brother: the 911 GT3 RS, the new top of the 911 line in terms of performance will celebrate its world premiere on 17 August. The development of the high-performance sports car was inspired by the successful 911 RSR and 911 GT3 R GT racing cars.

“The new 911 GT3 RS is even more optimised for track use than its predecessors. The spontaneously responsive, high-revving four-litre, six-cylinder boxer engine with approximately 500 PS has proven ideal for use at trackdays and club sport events,” says Andreas Preuninger, Director GT Model Line. “That's why we focused primarily on aerodynamics and chassis questions in the development of the new 911 GT3 RS.”

Porsche And Pixar Animation Studios Reveal A Factory One-Off 911
Porsche and Pixar Animation Studios have unveiled a very special Porsche inspired by one of the most popular 911s: Sally Carrera, the famous car from Disney and Pixar’s animated film Cars. Like Sally Carrera, the 911 Sally Special is one of a kind. There will only be one 911 Sally Special – and it’s the first time that Pixar has supported such a project. The one-off car will be auctioned by RM Sotheby's on Saturday, 20 August 2022 as part of Monterey Car Week in California. Auction proceeds will be donated to two charities. A portion of the proceeds will benefit young women through a donation to Girls Inc. The second portion will go to USA for UNHCR, an organisation that supports refugees from Ukraine.

Porsche Delivered 145,860 Cars Globally In The First Half Of 2022
Porsche has sustained strong delivery figures in the first half of 2022, despite a number of challenges. Overall, the sports car manufacturer delivered 145,860 vehicles to customers around the world between January and June, a decline of 5 per cent over the previous year. “We and our dealers have successfully navigated a first half-year shaped by external factors and uncertainties,” says Detlev von Platen, Board Member for Sales and Marketing at Porsche AG.
