New Skyline GT-R In Knickers!
This Nissan GT-R was caught waltzing around Arizona a few days ago, partially wrapped up in the usual camouflaging garments. The lucky spotter, known only as Badgermike, caught a couple of photos of the [URL=http://www.flickr.com/photos/mikefield/sets/72157594528020753/detail/]new monster[/URL], much to the dismay of the GT-R engineers/drivers.
"911 Turbo", was the only reply they gave him when queried about its performance.
The new Nissan GT-R, which has up till now successfully evaded the many prying eyes of the press, is supposed to come with a turbocharged V6, pushing 450-500bhp. Gearshifts will also be performed with F1-style paddle-shifters. Oddly though, the photographer added that he heard a whirring sound when the car was in its low revs, suggesting the possibility of a supercharger.
Judging from the photos, its pretty sizable quad exhausts and rather large disc brakes might give a hint of its performance. You be the judge.
