Peugeot is proud to present ‘Blueprint to Reality,’ with the unveiling of its newly revamped showroom at 305 Alexandra Road. In addition, the month of July also brings the inaugural launch of Peugeot’s line of scooters and bicycles in Singapore, serving to expand Peugeot’s current range of mobility options for every motorist.

With a revamped dark blue façade and sleek, modern décor, the French automaker is all set to bring concepts from the drawing board to our daily lives through the futuristic showroom. With its new minimalist concept and elegant ivory-hued fittings, the new showroom also represents Peugeot’s unwavering commitment to bring the sleekest, most cutting-edge mobility solutions and options to motorists. Truly, dreams for optimum urban mobility are never too far out of reach with Peugeot’s promise of quality, performance and safety.

True to its campaign tagline of 'We're putting a new spin on things at Peugeot’ is Peugeot’s launch of its latest offerings - Peugeot scooters and bicycles. Promising ‘Now with a wider range of wheels to suit any lifestyle', motorists will now have a more versatile and diverse range of urban mobility solutions to choose from, with the initial release of two scooter models, the Vivacity and the Géopolis RS.

With a permanent quest for innovation, Peugeot has revolutionized the two-wheels world as a producer of motorcycles since 1898. With its credentials of the inventor of the plastic bodywork scooter (1982), pioneer of electric scooters (1996) and the first to design engines equipped with superchargers (2005); Peugeot indeed has devised a myriad of innovations that make it an incontestable player in urban mobility.

The new Vivacity 125 is a stylish, economical and environmentally-friendly scooter well-suited for daily commuting. Amongst the most lightweight 125cc models in the market, the Vivacity 125 is an effortless, confidence-inspiring and assured ride, in all weathers. Powered by a torquey 124cc 4-stroke motor, the Vivacity 125’s twist and go automatic transmission makes it quick off the mark and it is ideal for anyone travelling around the city. With excellent fuel economy and emitting approximately 30% less CO2 than most small cars, the Vivacity 125 is kind to both the environment and the wallet. At a width of just 690mm, filtering through city traffic and squeezing into the tightest parking spots is a breeze.

The Vivacity 125’s seat can be unlocked and lifted up to access its spacious 22-litre storage bay. For occasions when extra carrying capacity is needed, the push of a button beneath the handlebars reveals a unique 13-litre compartment concealed in the front body panels, large enough to store a helmet. With a spacious dual seat and aluminum grab rail, the Vivacity 125 can carry two people with ease. Its blue backlit instrument panel includes a clock and external temperature gauge, whilst a handy 12V socket charges your mobile phone, mp3 player or even laptop on the move. Hydraulic front forks and twin rear shock absorbers ensure a smooth and comfortable ride while the 12” alloy wheels with sports profile tyres provide sure-footed handling. Stopping power is delivered by the combination of a 200mm dual piston calliper disc brake up front and a 130mm rear drum brake.

The Géopolis RS 300 is a larger, sportier model of scooter, perfect for the motorists seeking a sturdy, yet sleek, sporty ride. The Géopolis RS 300 is designed to be an easy-to-handle scooter that is powerful and robust enough to cope with highway speeds, yet compact enough to weave through city traffic and squeeze into tight spaces.

The Géopolis RS 300cc does not fail to impress with its engine power of 22hp from 278 cc, responsive automatic gearbox, as well as a low mounted fuel tank to lower its centre of gravity for superb handling. Its powerful ventilated disc brakes and two-tone 16” black/chrome alloys, together with a roomy staggered seat and wide saddle, ensure maximum performance and comfort.

Its sporty image is created by either its black or white body colours, smoked flyscreen and red double stitching of the saddle and brake calipers. It also features RS stickers, carbon effect side mirrors and front forks in a glossy black finish, perfect for the adventure-seeker within. Further, the Géopolis RS 300cc offers a more upright riding position than the majority of ‘feet forward’ styled maxi scooters, which will be more familiar and reassuring for experienced motorcyclists.

Peugeot has produced bicycles since 1882, encompassing a history of 130 years. It holds the accolade of the most successful factory team of all time in the Tour de France, having won it a record 10 times. This year, Peugeot brings a full range of bicycles to Singapore, including mountain, racing and classic bikes, as well as bicycles for children, ensuring a bicycle to suit every need, lifestyle and desire.

In celebration of Peugeot’s 12th Anniversary this year, as well as to commemorate the showroom relaunch, Peugeot is pleased to share the joy with customers with a host of special promotions for a limited time only.
