Photos from Frankfurt Motorshow 2013 Day 1

It was a busy morning on the first day of the Frankfurt Motorshow that saw the launch of several new exciting models. Volkswagen launched their new Golf variants at their massive booth in Hall 3.  First to roll onto the show was the Golf R. An extreme version of the current GTI with 300bhp going through the 4Motion system to give the blisteringly hot hatch even faster acceleration. Clocking century times of 4.9 seconds.  Other Golf models launched this morning were the Golf Sportvan, an evolution of the hatchback that provides greater space but compromises little of the Golf handling concept.
