Rolls-Royce Phantom Arabesque Features A Laser-Engraved Bonnet
One-of-one commission by Private Office Dubai honours Middle East’s cultural legacy.

Rolls-Royce Motor Cars has created a one-off Phantom Extended called Phantom Arabesque, inspired by traditional Middle Eastern mashrabiya latticework. Commissioned through Private Office Dubai, the car introduces a newly patented laser-engraving technique developed over five years.

It’s the first Rolls-Royce to feature a fully laser-engraved bonnet. The mashrabiya pattern is etched into the top paint layer, revealing a darker base coat underneath to create a subtle, textured effect. The car is finished in Diamond Black and Silver, with a hand-painted coachline, illuminated Pantheon grille, Dark Chrome accents and 22-inch alloy wheels.

Inside, the mashrabiya design appears in a full-width Gallery marquetry artwork made from Blackwood and Black Bolivar. The cabin is trimmed in Selby Grey and Black leather, with embroidered headrests, Starlight Doors and illuminated treadplates that mirror the bonnet pattern.

Phantom Arabesque showcases Rolls-Royce’s blend of traditional design inspiration and new manufacturing techniques.
