SG: Hit-and-run suspect still at large
26 year old Bangladeshi national Abdul Hannan Md Maham Ali was run over by a taxi while supervising the laying of underground cables at a construction site in late December last year. He died from his injuries an hour later. Although police were able to identify the taxi in question to be a Toyota Crown, the driver is still at large. The Straits Times quoted State Coroner, Imran Abdul Hamid, who urges the driver to account for his action, since it is the right thing to turn himself in.
