SG: No serious injuries after school bus ploughs into a barrier.

A school bus carrying nine kindergarten students ploughed straight through a barrier and into two parked cars. The accident took place near Pei Hwa Presbyterian Primary School, along Upper Bukit Timah Road. The collision happened on Tuesday around noon time, and thankfully, no one was seriously hurt in the crash. School Principal, Mrs Helen Chua, said that the driver appeared to have lost control when leaving the kindergarten. The children and bus attendant suffer some nicks and bruises, but nothing major. Mrs Chua attributed the lack of injuries to the seat belts that everyone was wearing at the point of impact. The bus driver is in his late 40s with a clean driving record. Police investigations are ongoing.
