SG: Traffic expected at checkpoints
The next Wednesday is labour day, a public holiday. Labour day is just round the corner, and the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority has warned motorists that they would encounter heavy traffic through both checkpoints at Woodlands and Tuas. It is expected that the heavy traffic would start from Tuesday, April 30th and last till to Sunday, May 5th.

To ease or avoid the congestion, the ICA advises travellers to either adjust their travel plans, or car pool.
Not only that, those with the BioPass or registered with the National Registration Office are also encouraged to make use of the enhanced Immigration Automated Clearance System lanes at the bus halls for faster clearance.
