Exklusiv Auto Services Pte Ltd, the distributor for Skoda cars in Singapore, has brought in the charming Roomster.
The Roomster is effectively two cars in one. An MPV and a hatchback. Admittedly , the Roomster looks quirky when viewed from certain angles. However, we do not deny the fact that quirkiness is part of the Roomster's charm and Skoda has never flinched from flying in the face of convention.
This is further affirmed by the fact that the Roomster was awarded Family Car of the Year 2006 in Belgium and the car repeated this feat again in 2007, this time in Sweden.
The Roomster is powered by a 1598cc inline-4 engine with 105bhp at 5700rpm and 154nm at 3500rpm. Official fuel economy for this roomy runabout is 15km/l for the automatic (no manual option on sale yet).
