Suzuki Is Celebrating 50 Years With Champion Motors In Singapore

Keep an eye on an expanded showroom and the new 5-door Jimny.

This August, Champion Motors Singapore (CMS) celebrates 50 years of shaping Singapore’s car scene with Suzuki. CMS has played a big role in shaping Singapore’s automotive landscape since 1975. Since becoming the brand’s authorised distributor in 1977, CMS has championed Suzuki’s design philosophy of “Sho-Sho-Kei-Tan-Bi” - smaller, lighter and smarter.

Over the decades, models like the Swift, Vitara and Jimny have stood for more than mobility, embodying freedom, fun and adventure for generations of drivers.

CMS has collaborated with Korean lifestyle brand Wiggle Wiggle to create a Limited Edition Suzuki Jimny, combining the SUV’s adventurous character with Wiggle Wiggle’s vibrant, playful designs. As part of the collaboration, a pop-up merchandise shop at the new flagship showroom will run until 30 November, featuring lifestyle and travel items for outdoor enthusiasts.

In addition, CMS also teamed up with local studio 8EyedSpud to develop a vibrant visual campaign. The illustrator duo brought CMS and Suzuki’s journey to life through colourful artwork featured on collaterals and merchandise, including custom decals and a limited CMS50 cashcard.

CMS will also strengthen its commitment to sustainability through its ongoing partnership with GetGo, supplying hybrid-equipped Suzukis. This initiative comes after GetGo’s plans to refresh the fleet in the coming months to advance sustainable mobility.

CMS marked its Golden Jubilee on 27 August with the launch of its new flagship Suzuki showroom at 7 Chang Charn Road. The 13,062 sq ft, two-storey showroom combines Sales and Aftersales services, featuring a customer lounge, pantry, car delivery suite and space for nine vehicles. With dedicated service counters, a workshop, and a glass service window, it offers visitors a modern, seamless and personalised automotive experience. Guests will be able to preview the 5-door Suzuki Jimny, set for official launch in Singapore in Q3 2025.
