The VW Beetle lights up the Singapore Night Festival
The Volkswagen Beetle has never shied away from the limelight, and it will be once again be the focus of attention at the Singapore Night Festival 2015, which kicks off this Friday. The nocturnal extravaganza of art, culture and spectacular performances is the stage for the debut of the latest Beetle, which is more attractive and better equipped than ever. It now comes with bi-xenon headlamps which illuminate the darkest nights with brilliant white light, while consuming less energy than conventional bulbs. When the sun is out, the LED daytime running lights ensure that the Beetle continues to make a strong statement on the road. The panoramic sunroof provides a perfect view of the skies above, while blocking 99% of UV radiation for the comfort of all on board.
The 18-inch ‘Twister’ alloy wheels – an original Volkswagen design – are perfectly matched to the unique shape of the Beetle, as is the sporty rear spoiler. These features also ensure that the car is as resolutely stable as it is fun to drive.
Additionally, buyers will soon be able to choose different roof, mirror and tailgate designs for their Beetle. This will add a whole new level of customization to an already very personal car. Visitors to the Beetle website can choose their favorite concept designs and win exclusive Beetle merchandise worth over $500.
At the Singapore Night Festival, event-goers stand to win a week-long driving experience with the Beetle simply by taking a photo of the car and sharing it on social media. They can also showcase their artistic talents by doodling on the specially prepared display car that will be at the Festival Village, located at the Singapore Management University.
Prices for the Beetle start at $127,300 with COE for the 1.2 TSI. A more powerful 1.4 TSI model is also available.
