Raikkonen is set to leave Ferrari in November after a three-year stint at Maranello that culminated in the 2007 drivers' championship victory. Toyota is holding back their driver line-up plans to wait on Raikkonen's decision.

Raikkonen has said that he would want a winning car next year if he were to continue in F1. Toyota has not won a grand prix since it first joined the grid in 2002.
