Insignia buyers can sharpen front and rear aerodynamics with a VXR styling kit inspired by the success of the manufacturer's BTCC touring car racing team. The rear spoiler is already available, and the VXR kit comprising front lower spoiler, rear skirt, rear spoiler and side sills will be coming soon to Vauxhall/Opel retailer showrooms throughout the country.

The advanced standard specification of all Insignia models - from intelligent lighting, active front seat head restraints and multi-function control system to front camera and traffic sign memory - will satisfy the most discerning buyer, but there is always a demand for additional accessories to enhance lifestyles and family enjoyment.

High quality accessories already available for the new model from Vauxhall/Opel retailers range from velour carpet mats, a set of tailored mudflaps and a safety pack for continental touring holidays. With family holidays in mind, an aluminium base carrier to securely locate roof-mounted equipment such as mountain bikes, windsurf boards and skis, and a 450 litre roof box for extra luggage capacity, are also available.

All Insignia models feature ISOFIX child seat restraint fittings to make it easy for parents to fit the latest design child seats from the Vauxhall/Opel range.

Although the standard model comes with some very attractive alloy wheel options, Irmscher has created a new design of 18 inch Turbo Star alloy wheel for those who really want their new car to stand out in a crowd. Other Irmscher styling aids on the way include a cross hatch grille, front lower spoiler, rear wing spoiler, side sills and rear bumper sports inserts.
