What we like:
pros
Cabin is luxurious and well put-together
pros
white gauges are gone (yes!)
pros
finally has the factory-fitted audio system which it deserves.
What we dislike:
cons
No audio switches on the steering wheel
cons
still using drum brakes for the rear
cons
4-speed automatic should have been upgraded to a 5 or 6-speeder.

If the Teana was the Sylphy's parent, then this child is doing a great job of living up to being its junior.

After all, the Sylphy's exterior features are heavily derived from the Teana's. And inside, the classy appointments - in this well-built cabin - ensure that its occupants feel like they're riding in a way more expensive car.

$67,000 might sound like an expensive proposition, but no other 1.5-liter sedan comes close to matching what the Sylphy offers in terms of refinement. We liked it before, and we still like it now...
