Peugeot 308 SW Turbo 1.6 Glass Roof Review: A French tale

What we like:

Sweet revving turbocharged 1.6 liter engine

flexible

safe and practical cabin

styled like no other wagon. Or MPV for that matter.

What we dislike:

Lack of cruise control

small buttons on the centre console can't be read at first glance

4-speed Tiptronic gearbox is positively antiquated.

Count on the French to pull it off - the 308 SW is a wagon that not only looks good. It is, in fact, downright stylish as well. Interestingly, the Pug also has a practical and highly flexible interior that can serve just about any MPV owner's need.

And having earned the maximum 5-star Euro NCAP rating, safety doesn't take a backseat to good looks either. The 1.6-liter engine found here also means lower road tax and insurance rates.

If you're in the market for an MPV and want one that stands out from the "normal" crowd, checking out the 308 SW could just be worth your while.
