A Global City

The completely re-designed all-new Honda City offers a visually-appealing design that is miles apart from the "stick-a-boot-to-jazz" design of the past.

To make it a truly global car, the engineers at Honda were again briefed with an objective in mind - To make the new City's interior as comfortable and easy to use. With that, the new interior now comes with bigger and thicker cushions for better ride comfort and is slightly more spacious than it's predecessor (Wheelbase increased by 100mm to 2550mm).

Interior

Driver's visibility has also being enhanced over its predecessor with the elimination of front quarter windows and having slimmer front pillers. The side mirror has also being enlarged to provide better visibility.

The interior also sports a trinocular meter design integrated with a large LED display that shows instant fuel consumption, average fuel consumption, trip information and range.

We like this car. To be honest, we would also very much like to love the old City for it's fuel efficiency and tractable i-DSI engine if not for it's one major flaw - looks. But with this new City, Honda has managed to design a handsome looking car that retains all the good characteristics of the outgoing car (fuel efficiency, powerful engine and supple ride), there is no reason not to love this little one.

Verdict

This is truly going to be a car of global standards for Honda.
