Launch of the Lexus CT200h

Lexus has once again redefined style and luxury with the official launch of its new CT200h, the world's first luxury hybrid compact on March 4, 2011.

Borneo Motors played host to more than 400 guests at the Customs House Pavilion, located at the trendy urban destination, Fullerton Bay.

A first for Singapore, Lexus utilised a cutting edge technology known as projection mapping to showcase the brand new Lexus CT 200h. Guests were treated to 3D images being projected onto the car, bringing the vehicle and its key features to life against dynamically shifting backdrops. The projected images illustrated various scenes, highlighting e.g. the car's vibrant exterior colours and driving modes. The show concluded on a high note, revealing a white CT 200h while pyrotechnics sparked spontaneously along the bay, against the stunning backdrop of the Marina Bay Sands skyline. BMS MD, Mr Koh Ching Hong, opened the evening with a welcome address, while the Lexus CT200h's Chief Engineer, Mr Osamu Sadakata, introduced the CT 200h's wealth of innovative and luxurious features.

The Lexus CT 200h is the first and only full hybrid car in the luxury compact segment. Its size, packaging, full hybrid technology and ultra low emissions meet the requirements of a young, highly discerning, and environmentally conscientious driver.

The CT 200h exudes a stylish exterior and is complimented by a comfortable and luxurious interior complete with world's first technologies such as Lexus Hybrid Technology, lateral performance dampers and even bamboo charcoal resin speakers to promise you a refined driving experience. Local artiste Kui Jien hosted the event, and the guests were serenaded by the lovely Leena Salim backed by a jazz duo. Live photography provided momentos for guests and stunning models, courtesy of dress sponsor Glitterati, complimented the stylish vehicle. It was an exquisite evening for Lexus guests to preview the latest in new luxury for the discerning driver.
