More importantly for buyers, there are several models out there that alee significant price drops. Here is a sum up:

.
Subaru Impreza 1.5R –up to $6500
Manual transmission models of the 1.5-litre Impreza see a big price drop of $6500. This is after a drop of $3501 just after the last COE round, which means buyers can save up to $10k compared to a month ago. The automatic transmission 1.5R models saw smaller drops in prices of between $5500 to $6000 depending on the trim level and body style.

Chery V5 -$6000
The Chinese people carrier is superb value for money considering its size and equipment levels. It ought to make an even more tempting buy thanks to the $6000 price cut after last Wednesday’s COE bidding.

Suzuki SX4 1.6 VVT 5Dr Sport Edition (A) 2008 -$5400
The compact hatch with SUV looks is now not only better equipped but more affordable as well. In fact, its sticker price has fallen $5400 to $61,500. The stylish little hatch has WRC pedigree and makes for a decent drive as well.

Opel Corsa OPC -$5000
Opel’s mini hot hatch has been made affordable after the COE results on Wednesday. It might not be the most engaging drive but it certainly looks good inside and out. Its rarity will also mean that buying one will be a unique proposition.

Suzuki SX4 Sedan 1.6 VVT 4Dr Sports Edition (A) 2008 -$3800
If you’re not a fan of hatchbacks then the SX4 Sedan might be just be more suitable. The four-door model has a lower sticker price than the hatchback to begin with but a $3800 price drop might just make it even more tempting for sedan car buyers.
