Local tuning specialists Autovox held an exclusive party for renowned German Porsche tuner, TECHART just days before the Singapore Grand Prix. Since 1987, TECHART has been upgrading standard Porsches to stratospheric levels of performance.

In recent years, the German tuner brand based in Leonberge, Germany has attained recognition for their technological excellence in tuning technology. More than just a tuner brand, TECHART has been recognized as a vehicle manufacturer for years.

Setting themselves as the cornerstone for individualizing Porsches for customers in the premium segment. TECHART manufactures tailor made and handcrafted works of art in fields varying from aerodynamics, exterior design, automotive engineering as well as interior refinements.

The party was held at La Villa Italian Restaurant. Gracing the event is Thomas Behringer, Co-founder of TECHART whom we had a chance to speak to before the party. We quizzed Behringer on how TECHART is different to the myriad of Porsche specialist tuners out there and so on.

Behringer was joined by TECHART brand ambassador and current Formula 1 star Adrian Sutil from the Force India Formula 1 team. Sutil later in the evening. Sutil was a big hit with the ladies in the house, posing for countless photographs with the ladies.

The guys, on the other hand, were ogling at the TECHART cars on display instead - the exclusive TECHART GT street, Boxster, Cayman as well as the Panamera while savouring the free flow of drinks, desserts and premium canapés.

A lucky draw was held at the end of the night with the lucky winners walking away with attractive prizes that included an iPad 2, Bose iPhone Docking Station, Techart 6-Piston Brake design wall hung time-pieces as well as TECHART calendars autographed by Adrian Sutil and Thomas Behringer.
