Volkswagen launches Tiguan R-Line & Touareg Edition X

The Tiguan is now available in an all-new version. The Tiguan R-Line created by Volkswagen R GmbH has a dynamic appearance both inside and out to match its class leading performance.

Especiall distinctive are teh new bumpers sculpted in R-Design and painted in body colour. Their look is tuned to body coloured side sills with 'matt chrome' inserts and an R-Line roof edge spoiler. Other body speficiations of the Tiguan R-Line include a black textured rear diffuser, aluminium door sill plates with R-Line logo and another R-Line logo on the radiator grile. Newly designed 19-inch 'Mallory' alloy wheels with 255/40 tyres complete teh exterior package.

An equally individual interior greets the Tiguan R-Line driver. The 'Vienna' leathe seats have head restraints with integrated R-Line logos and there is a multifunction steering wheel with aluminium accents and R-Line badge.

The Tiguan is powered by the award winning 2.0 TSI engine with 210bhp and 280Nm torque and fitted with the DQ500 7-speed DSG gearbox.

The Tiguan R-Line will be available from 1st June 2013.

The new Touareg Edition X runs as standard on 19-inch 'Moab' alloy wheels and combined with the special 'Moonlight Blue pearl effect' exterior paint. Available as an option offers stylish level of specification. A large panoramic sunroof, silver anodised roof rails, bi-xenon headlights with LED daytime running lights and darkened rear light clusters in LED technology complete the look of this striking off-roader. In addition, the 'Chrome & Style' designer pack, tinted side and rear windows and 'Touareg X' logos on the wings are also included in the package.

Customers in Singapore can choose between teh 3.6 V6 petrol and the 3.0 V6 TDI Clean Diesel for the Touareg X.

The Touareg Edition X will be available from 18 May 2013.
