It is also a history that has accelerated over time - the one millionth Peugeot was produced in 1952, and the ten millionth in 1976.
As a result of Peugeot’s formidable growth, events have gathered pace since - the twenty millionth mark was achieved in 1988 and then the forty millionth mark barely six years ago.
Peugeot continues to grow internationally and is developing its presence on priority markets such as South America, China, Central Europe and Russia.
