All New Chevrolet Epica in Singapore Showrooms, 14th July!

Chevrolet will soon, on the 14th of July, premier a new mid-luxury car to their ever growing family. Following the Captiva, the Epica is targeted at the segment of buyers wishing to have a Nissan Cefiro or a Toyota Camry in their life, and can be expected to be priced in the range of these competitors as well.

The front spells a large, striking, curved headlamp cluster that houses silver bezel projection lights, something unique to the new Chevy lineup.

Chevrolet describes the Epica to be a charmer with its elegant appearance and the superb ride handling.

It is an ambitious showcase of General Motors’ design and engineering capability, setting new standard for the large-sized sedan segment and competing with some of the world’s best.

The Epica houses an inline six-cylinder engine that Chevrolet claims, runs smoother than comparably four-cylinder or V-6 engines found in other models of this segment, as proven by BMW’s similar engine layout.

The transversally mounted inline engine is delivered as standard with a five-speed automatic transmission.

Chevrolet says that the new Epica will feature a new, clean, uncluttered design element which contributes to its overall classy and elegant image, giving the car a stately road presence.

The car comes with luxuries like a speed sensitive power steering, four SRS airbags, cruise control, electric chromatic mirror, and a sunroof.

The Chevrolet Epica will be available in two, inline 6 engine capacities – a 2.0L and the 2.5L.
