This is up 41 percent from the 101 units sold in May 2008. In the first full month of availability, the new Audi Q5 performed exceptionally well with 34 units delivered. The Q5 has quickly positioned itself at the top of the luxury performance SUV segment.

"The momentum behind the Audi brand in Singapore is obvious," said
Reinhold Carl, Managing Director, Audi Singapore. "We have been
introducing sporty new models and investing in the brand locally, and the momentum we have built is clearly paying off."

"There is a positive trend that has been building over the months with growing sales and increased market share, despite the difficulties in the market."

"Sales of the new Audi Q5 in Singapore have exceeded our expectations.
We knew the product was very solid and demand would be great, but we’re still pleasantly surprised by the response."

Audi has sold a total of 553 cars in Singapore this year, which represents a 15 percent increase when compared to the same period last year.

Audi will launch at least four new models in Singapore this year, including the Audi A5 Cabriolet, the Audi R8 V10 and the new Audi S4.
