You are looking at the fastest TT Audi has ever produced. Called the TTS, this TTS is differentiated from its lesser siblings by a revised nose that features the R8's LED eyebrows, 18-inch alloy wheels and silver finish door mirrors.

In the cabin, a flat-bottomed steering wheel-like the R8, is joined by leather trimmed sports seats and aluminium trim for pedals and doors.

However, the biggest difference is in its engine. Audi engineers have managed to squeeze 270bhp out of the 2.0-litre TFSI powerplant. Mated to Audi's quattro drivetrain, the TTS powers from standstill to 100km/h in 5.2 seconds for the manual. The DSG gearbox shaves another 0.2 seconds off the century sprint.

To compete against the Z4M and the Porsche Cayman, the TTS handling is improved by fitting the car with Audi's hi-tech magnetic active dampers and a less intrusive ESP programme.

The TTS will be available in both coupe and roadster bodystyles.
