GAC Refreshes Its Flagship PHEV MPV With More Cabin Comfort
Bigger screens, upgraded massage functions and up to 108 km of electric driving headline the new GAC E9 Premium.
The GAC E9 Premium has received an upgrade in Singapore, with distributor VINCAR Group adding more comfort features and technology to its flagship seven-seat plug-in hybrid MPV.
The second row now features zero-gravity seats with one-touch SPA Mode and a 16-point massage system. Both front seats also get 10-point massage functions, while the first two rows offer heating and ventilation. The cabin features expanded brown trim, alongside a 7-litre compartment that can heat or cool its contents.
On the tech front, the central infotainment display has grown from 10.1 inches to 14.6 inches. Rear passengers get a new 15.6-inch HD entertainment screen, while updated armrest controls let second-row occupants adjust the music, air-conditioning and powered sliding doors.
The E9 Premium combines a 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine with an electric motor for a total system output of 274 kW. Its 25.57 kWh battery delivers up to 108 km of pure-electric range and a WLTP-rated combined range of up to 1,032 km.
The refreshed MPV is available for S$294,100, including guaranteed COE, compared with its usual S$299,988 price tag. Buyers can also receive an insurance subsidy of up to S$2,000. The offer ends on 4 November, subject to terms and conditions.
