BMW leads luxury car sales with record-breaking first quarter
Singapore. 21 April, 2006 - Following on the success of 2005, BMW sales continued to rise in the first quarter of 2006 with almost double the number of cars sold compared to the same period last year. Record sales for the months of January, February and March totalled at 983 automobiles.

New model introductions have included the 177bhp, 6-cylinder BMW 323i saloon and 367bhp, 8-cylinder BMW 650Ci sports coupe and cabriolet.

Mr Simon Rock, Managing Director of Performance Motors, said: ”Due to strong customer loyalty we were able to maintain sales momentum.” The excellent reception to our Asian Aerospace cars at the start of 2006 gave us the impetus, and with our Singapore 2006 7 Series initiative now generating impressive sales we are optimistic that this will be another good year.”
