Brand new Skoda Octavia vRS: The fastest Skoda Ever

The new Octavia vRS sprints from 0 to 62 mph in 6.8 seconds and reaches a top speed of 154mph with a manual gearbox. This makes it faster than its predecessor by 4 mph. It also offers all the outstanding features of the new Octavia: high functionality, plenty of room, safety, state-of-the art assistance systems in terms of control and safety, and having excellent value for money. With two engines powering the new Skoda Octavia vRS, there is a choice of the 2 litre petrol 220 PS or the 2 litre diesel 184 PS. However for the diesel engine, the Octavia vRS sprints from 0-62 mph in 8.1 seconds with a top speed of 144mph.

The new engines now provide more power while consuming up to 19% less fuel. Start-stop and Brake Energy Regeneration are fitted as standard.

The Octavia vRS shows off its lean sporty look with a brand new design. The front view features a characteristic Skoda grille with the vRS badge, distinctive honey comb air intakes, a new vRS-style front bumper and fog lights as well as new bi-xenon headlights with integrated LED daytime running lights. The side view has the car considerably lower compared to the standard Octavia body. The light alloy wheels give the car a particularly sporty look with four new 17", 18" and 19" wheel designs. The rear has a strong black diffuser element with chrome exhaust pipes. The rear lights are fitted with standard LED technology and lastly a roof-edge spoiler.

The interior is sporty and black with integrated ambient lighting for the internal door handles, vRS-design sports seats and a sporty three-spoke steering wheel with perforated leather. The gear stick and hand break are also made of leather.
