The third-generation Tiguan is now on sale in Singapore, featuring significant redesigns and improvements. The first of which is a new mild hybrid tech with automatic Active Cylinder Management (ACT) for improved efficiency. Matrix, reloaded

This Tiguan is the first MQB (name of VW Group’s shared modular platform) model to introduce the cutting-edge IQ.LIGHT HD matrix headlights. It boasts 38,400 multi-pixel LEDs found in the Touareg, penetrating the night with exceptional brightness and precision, as far as our eyes can see.

It’s very spacious

The Tiguan has grown in length, while maintaining similar height, width and wheelbase dimensions as its predecessor. Despite this slight increase in length, the new generation demonstrates efficient space utilisation. The luggage compartment capacity has expanded by 37 litres, now offering a class-leading 652 litres of space when loaded up to the height of the rear seat backrests.

New dial with a mini screen

The new Tiguan introduces several advanced modules, including a 10.25-inch Digital Cockpit with anti-reflective coating, a 15-inch infotainment screen with a redesigned menu structure and graphics, a new head-up display and a multifunctional driving experience switch with an integrated OLED display. This switch enables control over driving modes, radio volume and ambient lighting colours.

Massage on the go

There’s now ergoActive Plus seats equipped with pneumatic four-way lumbar adjustment, a pneumatic 10-chamber pressure massage function and ventilation. These seats ensure both the driver and front passenger stay cool and comfortable over prolonged journeys.

Familiar VW power

The all-new Tiguan will feature a new 48 V mild hybrid eTSI drive, delivering 96kW (130PS) and equipped with automatic Active Cylinder Technology (ACT), paired with a dual clutch transmission (DSG). Inspired by Volkswagen ID. models, the gear selection will be controlled by a steering column switch located on the right side of the steering wheel.
