COE Premiums Fall In All Categories Except for Cat A In First Bidding Exercise of July 2023

Gap between Cat A and B premiums narrows to S$21,000.

The latest premium for Category A cars, or those 1,600cc and below with horsepower not exceeding 130bhp closed at S$97,000, an increase of S$794 from the previous tender.

Premiums for large cars in Category B (above 1,600cc or 97kW) ended lower at S$118,002, a decrease of S$2,998 from the previous result.

COEs for commercial vehicles, including goods vehicles and buses, decreased by S$917 to S$82,223.

In the motorcycle category, the premium experienced a decrease of S$619, to S$10,090.

In the open category (Category E), which can be used for any type of vehicles but often end up being used for big cars, premiums decreased by S$2,000, to S$121,000.
