Dealers cited the price drop in view of inflation and higher fuel prices.

Category B prices decreased by 3.6 per cent to $13,389.

Category C (commercial vehicle) prices increased by 6.9 per cent from $12,989 to $13,889

Category D prices for motorcycles gained 10.8 per cent, from $1,310 to $1,452.

Open Category E prices rose 2.1 per cent, from $14,001 to $14,300.

The government is expected soon to announce a smaller crop of COEs for the new quota year.
