Epson Movie Mob hosts the kids of MILK & the Lakeside Children’s Home

If you have been one of the frequent patrons of the Epson Movie Mob – Singapore’s virginal free drive-in experience, then you are well aware that it is also part democracy wherein people get to vote for the movie being screened.

Much of the Epson Movie Mob phenomena stems around the fact that it is firstly free, secondly it is steeped in the mystery and suspense of what exactly is being screened, which goes by a public voting system and is only revealed 3 days prior to the screening.

Epson, having comfortably established its roots in Singapore over the past 20 odd years, has always been actively involved in corporate social activities and this year, there is no difference. For 2009, Epson will be playing host to two children’s charity organizations – [B][I]MILK[/B][/I] and [B][I]Lakeside Children’s Home[/B][/I].

The night of 19 September 2009 will be dedicated to these children where they will be treated to a free movie screening at the Marina Pier area. Titled the [I]Epson Movie Mob Charity Night[/I], Epson hopes to brighten the lives of the children by relieving the nostalgic drive-in experiences that most of us so loved and missed.

Whatever your preference – be it an ideal Saturday evening activity with friends and family or just for the open-air experience – come on down to join Epson staff and the children of both MILK and Lakeside Children’s Home @ the Epson Movie Mob Charity Night!

[B]6.45pm[/B] - Dinner with the children at the Steword Riverboat Restaurant (upper deck)

[B]7.15pm[/B] - Commence dinner

[B]8.15pm[/B] - Proceed to screening venue

[B]8.30pm[/B] - Start of movie screening

[B]10.30pm[/B] - End of movie screening
