The French manufacturer is to run the ultra-successful combination of Marc Gene, Nicolas Minassian, Pedro Lamy and Stephane Sarrazin in the LMS championship with a big push for the classic 24 hour event.

New BMW Sauber test driver and former F1 racer Christian Klien is joined by new Honda test driver Alex Wurz, former Toyota tester Franck Montagny, Jacques Villeneuve and Ricardo Zonta.

The announcement was made today by Peugeot Sport and comes three days after testing the car at the Paul Ricard Circuit in the South of France.

“I’m very happy to be part of the Peugeot Sport team for the Le Mans 24 Hours, and having driven the Peugeot 908 HDi FAP at Paul Ricard this week I can see we have a very strong package and look forward to helping the team to achieve its goals,” said Klien, the youngest of the ten driver squad. "This is my first experience of driving a sports prototype and to have the chance to be in a really competitive car at the most famous sports car race in the world is a wonderful opportunity.
