Ford Focus RS
If you think the Ford Focus ST is a mean machine with an equally mean engine to boot, enter the Focus RS. You'll be blown (presumably, by the turbo...)

Ford has today confirmed that the second-generation Focus RS will be produced and the dark, teasing picture of the new RS is evidence of their commitment.
Based on the new Focus ST but with bigger wheel arches, bonnet vents and a gaping front air dam, the new RS is described as a Focus for the more enthusiastic drivers.
Technical details are not exactly known at this moment, but expect the RS to get four-wheel drive and a twin-turbo version of the ST's 2.5-litre in-line five engine. Power rating should be in the range of 300bhp and a 0-100 time under six seconds.
A concept version of the Focus RS will arrive some time next year during the London motor show in July. The production version will follow in 2009.
