Toyota Singapore has unveiled the fourth-generation Toyota Vellfire. This new hybrid model (self-charging hybrid) offers passengers an unparalleled journey and underscores Toyota's dedication to achieving the highest quality. With top-notch craftsmanship and features, it gives luxury sedans a good run for their money - especially for those that love (and can afford) to be chauffeured.

How much is a Toyota Vellfire Hybrid in Singapore?

S$399,888 with COE.

The Toyota Vellfire Hybrid offers first-class luxury. How so?

Firstly, there are captain seats with ottoman functions. There’s also genuine leather upholstery (might even sound provocative in this era of sustainability, but we can see where they're coming from), twin panoramic glass moonroofs and detachable touch displays.

What can tech-savvy folks look forward to in the Toyota Vellfire Hybrid’s cabin?

There’s a 14-inch display with wireless Apple CarPlay and wired Android Auto, wireless charging and no less than 15 speakers from a JBL setup.

Is the Toyota Vellfire Hybrid efficient?

For sure. A claimed fuel efficiency of 17.2km/l is excellent, and when on “EV” mode (once the batteries have sufficient charge) it's as quiet as a whisper.

Is the Toyota Vellfire Hybrid powerful?

Don’t expect neck-bending performance. It’s not tuned for brutal speed, and we’d reckon passengers won’t want their coffee cups to topple too. 188bhp is gathered from a combination of its 2.5-litre motor and self-charging battery. Smooth operator.

It’s loaded with safety features, too.

Pre-Collision System, Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, Lane Tracing Assist, Lane Departure Alert and Adaptive High-Beam System as part of Toyota Safety Sense all come as standard. Not forgetting 6 airbags and a blind spot monitoring system.

The Toyota Vellfire Hybrid comes with Captain Seats, but are there other configurations?

It offers ten seating configurations, including a 50:50 split-folding option for the third-row seats. There’s also a lower rear seat access step for easier entry and exit via the sliding doors. Expect nothing less…

Tell me something I might not know about the Toyota Vellfire Hybrid.

There are embedded, wireless phone-like controllers located on the armrests of the Captain Seats, to control music and massage functions just to name a few.
