Giti Tire Is World’s Fastest-Growing Tyre Brand, Secures BMW EV OE Fitment

Giti Tire has been named the world’s fastest-growing tyre brand in the latest Brand Finance Tyres 25 2026 report, while climbing to eighth place among the most valuable tyre brands globally.

According to Brand Finance, Giti’s brand value rose 37.7 per cent year-on-year to US$1.47 billion, the highest growth rate among the world’s leading tyre manufacturers. The result also saw the company move up one position in the global rankings.

The recognition reflects Giti’s continued investments in research and development, advanced tyre technologies and strategic partnerships, as well as its growing presence in both original equipment (OE) and replacement markets. The company has also expanded its product portfolio to cater to the increasing demand for electric vehicle (EV) tyres.

One recent example of its technological capabilities came through its collaboration with BYD’s premium Yangwang brand. The Yangwang U9, fitted with GitiSport e.GTR2 Pro tyres, achieved several high-speed performance milestones, highlighting the brand’s growing presence in the high-performance EV segment.

Giti currently operates five manufacturing facilities and five research and testing centres worldwide, with products sold in more than 130 countries and regions. The company also works with over 100,000 retail outlets globally.

Separately, Giti has secured original equipment fitment for the all-electric BMW iX1 and BMW iX2. The approved tyre, the GitiSynergy H3 in size 245/40 R20 99Y XL, was developed to meet BMW Group’s requirements for efficiency, performance and sustainability.

The tyre achieves an EU rolling resistance rating of A and carries BMW’s homologation “*” marking. The latest approval follows previous OE nominations for BMW 1 Series and MINI models, further strengthening Giti’s relationship with the German manufacturer.

The tyre was developed at Giti’s European R&D Centre in Hannover, Germany, and validated through testing programmes in the UK, Germany and Spain.
