MINI Celebrates 25 Years in Oxford with Exclusive Cooper Oxford Edition

MINI is marking 25 years of modern MINI production at its Oxford plant with the launch of the new MINI Cooper Oxford Edition, a special model that celebrates the brand's British heritage through a series of exclusive design touches.

Built on the latest three-door MINI Cooper, the Oxford Edition draws inspiration from Oxford, UK, where the original Mini was first produced in 1959 and where BMW Group has assembled modern MINI models since 2001. The special edition serves as a tribute to what MINI describes as the brand's "spiritual home".

The most distinctive feature is a white contrast roof featuring a contemporary Union Jack graphic, complemented by a red-and-white stripe running the length of the car. Buyers can choose from exterior finishes including Chili Red and Indigo Sunset Blue, paired with white mirror caps and exclusive 18-inch Slide Spoke two-tone alloy wheels.

Inside, the British theme continues with Union Jack detailing on the steering wheel, bespoke floor mats and edition-specific door sills commemorating 25 years of modern MINI production.

Available in both Cooper C and Cooper S variants, the Oxford Edition blends MINI's signature design heritage with modern technology and customisation, a hallmark of the brand since its relaunch under BMW Group.

Alongside the car, MINI has also introduced an Oxford Capsule lifestyle collection featuring apparel, bags, stickers and accessories inspired by the edition's design theme.

The MINI Cooper Oxford Edition joins a long line of special-edition models, including the MINI 60 Years Edition, MINI Seven Edition and MINI Paul Smith Edition, continuing the brand's tradition of celebrating its heritage through distinctive design-led releases.
