Hankook to Showcase Ventus R-s3 & Optimo H426 At Tokyo Auto Saloon 2010
Hankook Tire plans to unveil two new products for the very first time through Tokyo Auto Salon. Ventus R-s3 and Optimo H426 are high-performance, environmentally-friendly tires that demonstrate Hankook’s superior technology.

During Tokyo Auto Salon 2009, Hankook received much attention from the highly competitive Japanese market for its pioneering technology present in three new tires, including the environmentally-friendly product, enfren, and two high-performance tires.
The Ventus R-s3 that will be revealed at Tokyo Auto Salon 2010 is a next-generation tire employing motorsports technology. Winner of the 2009 Super GT300, Kinoshita Mitsuhiro, participated in its development. From the stylish fire frame to the compound, grip, and contact patch, the Ventus R-s3 boasts pure racing technology and has already proven its capabilities in prominent global racing competitions.
The Optimo H426 is an environmentally-friendly tire that satisfies demands for both braking performance and lower fuel consumption. New materials, fuel efficient comfort technology, and 20% reduced rolling resistance (the resistance that occurs when a tire rolls on a flat road) compared to existing products contribute to minimizing damaging effects on the environment and enhancing fuel economy.
