Hyundai Elexio Debuts In Singapore As Komoco Motors Marks 40 Years As Distributor
It's got the screens and specs, but the Elexio's real pitch is a calmer, more human driving experience.

Hyundai just revealed its all-new Elexio in Singapore, and the pitch is refreshingly different: less about chasing bigger screens and faster chips, more about making the drive feel calm.

Announced under the banner "Beyond Innovation," the Elexio rides on Hyundai's next-gen EV platform and arrives here via Komoco Motors - marking the distributor's 40th year repping Hyundai in Singapore.

Outside, styling leans towards avant-garde. We’re looking at pixelated "Cosmic Cube" LED headlights, an aerodynamic body, flush door handles and rather massive 20-inch "plum blossom" alloy wheels.

Inside feels more lounge than cabin. Hard plastics are out, replaced by mock-suede, fabric and perforated leather under a panoramic glass roof. A 27-inch 4K touchscreen anchors the dash, paired with a head-up display and ventilated, heated seats. Boot space runs from 506 litres to 1,540 litres with seats folded, opened hands-free.

Safety headlines the launch - a 5-star ANCAP rating and no less than 9 airbags. SmartSense driver-assist and Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) tech, which powers your gadgets, round things out.

On the numbers: pick from either 64.2 kWh (Standard Range) or 88.1 kWh (Long Range) batteries, 0 to 100km/h in as little as 10.7 seconds, and 350 kW fast-charging hitting 10 to 80% in 36 - 38 minutes. Five colours are offered, including two new shades - Dragon Red and Military Grey.
The Elexio hits The Car Expo, 24 - 25 October 2026, at Singapore Expo Halls 4 and 5. More info can be found here.
