A total of 451 7-Series will be used to transport heads of governments, central bank governors, ministers of finance as well as plenty other foreign dignitaries.

The estimated value of this Singapore 2006 partnership exceeds S$10 million, and has undergone more than a year of intensive preparations. 600 drivers have been selected, out of 1650 applicants, and have attended driver training programmes conducted by BMW.

Mr Simon Rock, Managing Director of Performance Motors Limited, proudly explained, "It is a great honour for Performance Motors and its staff to be involved in the premier financial event for the world's most influential leaders. It also represents a significant challenge, but I am confident that with our track record, our professionalism and dedication, we will provide service and logistical support to the highest standard, thereby underpinning one of the key pillars for the event’s undoubted success"

Before the cars meet their passengers though, they will be cleaned up in a colossal limousine fleet wash on September 10th. Transfers of the vehicles to Suntec City will begin before the meeting commences.
