With Singapore's fragmented aftermarket workshop environment, consumers are frequently required to visit various workshops for their different automotive needs. This new arrangement leverages automotive solutions from AutoInsure and Inchcape Singapore's services, to offer customers a comprehensive suite of aftersales services in more locations.

The Century Motors-led acquisition marks a new milestone in Inchcape Singapore's aftersales portfolio expansion into the growing EV space and targeting new customers; prior to this acquisition, Inchcape Singapore was able to service the cars they distributed locally. Now, they can reach customers of all makes and models, regardless of insurance tier for accident repairs.

Established back in 2014, AutoInsure has in their last eight years gained a strong foothold in the aftermarket workshops industry. The automotive solutions provider was the appointed workshop by fleet companies and EV OEM distributors and is now authorised by many insurer companies as the go-to repair workshop and/or accident reporting centre. Through this deal, Inchcape Singapore will officially take over the location, facilities and branding of AutoInsure.

AutoInsure is currently designated as an authorised EV workshop by Allianz, while being the reporting centre for accident reporting by 13 insurance companies.
