Lighting Up at the Motorshow

Lighting Up at the Motorshow

Bosch, Philips and Hella had booths at the Motorshow, and the range of products that they offered allows existing car owners to upgrade their cars like never before. If you thought that only high-end new cars had ultra cool white headlamps, then its time to head to the Motorshow to see what can be done to upgrade your headlamps. Bosch’s range of Plus (+) White and Euro Bright are retailing at S$60 – S$70 per set. Philips and Hella also feature a range of aftermarket bulbs that can be fitted to almost any car. At the Hella booth, the OEM maker that supplies headlamps for BMW and Mercedes-Benz, amongst other carmakers, has a range of DynaView lamps turn and provide illumination around bends. These lamps are wired up to a car’s steering system, and come on automatically at speeds up to 40km/h. They also come on automatically when reversing, allowing the driver to see the road better. If its new fangled wipers that catch your fancy, Bosch supplies both as aftermarket options. Like the latest BMWs and Mercedes-Benzes, Bosch’s AeroTwin wiper range make use of aerodynamically shaped rubber wipers to provide better visibility and longer lasting performance. The AeroTwin wipers make use of universal clips so that they can be used on almost any car. Over at Hella, one can even get BMW 5 Series-style ringed headlamps. These can be mounted on the bumper, or for certain cars, the entire headlamp housing can be changed. Find out more at the Hella booth at the 4th floor of the Motorshow.
