After 10 days of the Singapore Motorshow at Suntec City, the results are in for first web-poll for the most popular cars, as voted by Oneshift.com members. The Mazda CX-7 topped the SUV segment, while Subaru Impreza WRX bagged the ‘sedan’ category. The Subaru Legacy GT won the ‘large sedan’ category, while the Suzuki Swift Sport proved to be the most popular hatchback. Hondas topped the MPV and ‘Coupe/Cabriolet’ segments with the Odyssey and S2000 respectively. The clear winner in the ‘supercar’ segment was the Lamborghini Murcielago LP640, while the Lexus LF-A was chosen as the best concept car. The Subaru stand won, no doubt because of its size as well as for the complete range of new and exciting models on display. Some other figures to take note – Oneshift.com’s review of the motorshow was read nearly 7,000 times over the 10-day duration of the show, which works out to 700 times a day, and Oneshift.com increased its membership by over 30 percent.
